François BERGERE

François BERGERE is the new General Manager of the “Institut de la Gestion deleguee-IGD”, a French think tank also known as the French PPP institute. Until Sept 2024, he was Secretary General of the Long-Term Infrastructure Investors Association (LTIIA), an association aiming to engage with policymakers for the investing community, to develop financial performance benchmarks and share best ESG practices so as to promote sustainable infrastructure as a full-fledged asset class. 

Until that same date, he was also CEO of FAST-Infra Group (Finance to Accelerate Sustainable Transition-Infrastructure), a multi-stakeholders initiative to promote a global sustainable infrastructure label . Francois has a long professional experience in the field of public management, project and infrastructure finance, having worked as a manager of multinational Investment funds in infrastructure and in the French ministry of Finance to set-up and manage the PPP task force, and at the World Bank as head of PPIAF (Public-Private Investment Advisory facility), to foster an investment-enabling environment for private sector in infrastructure.
