Guillaume RICHARD
Global Head of Power & Utilities, Crédit Agricole CIB
Guillaume initially joined the Bank’s Project Finance team in Paris in 2000. He was in charge of presenting credit requests from the Bank’s global network to the central credit committee in Paris.
Guillaume moved to London in 2002, focusing first on energy transactions and later on infrastructure, contributing to the initial development of CACIB’s debt advisory platform.
In 2014, Guillaume transitioned to Coverage, and subsequently set-up the Infrastructure Investors Coverage Team in 2017. The team expanded to Hong-Kong, Paris, London and NY, covering more than 100 clients and into a recognized franchise across multiple sectors (infrastructure, power, telecom, transportation, etc.) and products, earning the Global Bank of the Year award from Infrastructure Investors from 2018 to 2022.
Guillaume was appointed Global Head of Power & Utilities in Paris in 2022 where he is in charge of steering the Bank’s strategy in the sector and its commitment to the energy transition.
He has a Master’s Degree in Engineering from Ecole Supérieure de Techniques Avancées and in Corporate Finance and Capital Markets from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (“Sciences Po”).
